Eligibility & how to apply.
What you need before you apply, and what happens after you do.
01Requirements
Who can apply
If you meet most of these but not all, apply anyway and say so in your message. We would rather read your case than have you rule yourself out.
- 01
Currently enrolled at a recognised Cameroonian institution in engineering or applied science — HTTTC, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, COT and equivalent programmes all qualify.
- 02
Studying at HND, B.Tech, B.Eng or M.Tech level. First-year students are welcome to apply for project support, but site placements are reserved for those who have completed at least one year of core coursework.
- 03
Able to demonstrate the fundamentals for your stream — circuit theory and machines for electrical, statics and materials for civil, programming and digital systems for computer engineering.
- 04
A letter from your department or supervisor confirming enrolment and, where the placement counts toward your programme, that it will be credited.
- 05
A copy of your student ID and your most recent transcript or results slip.
- 06
Available for the full duration of the placement. Partial attendance cannot be assessed or certified.
02The process
Four steps from application to certificate
- 01
Apply
Submit the enquiry form with your institution, level of study and area of interest.
- 02
Assessment
We review your background and confirm a suitable placement or supervisor.
- 03
Placement
You join a project team with a named supervisor and clear objectives.
- 04
Assessment & certificate
Written evaluation and a certificate on completion.
03What you get
What we commit to in return
- A named supervisor
- One engineer responsible for your placement from day one, not a rotating pool.
- Real project work
- You work on live engagements under supervision — not observation, and not filing.
- Structured review
- Scheduled check-ins against agreed objectives, with written feedback you can act on.
- Formal certification
- An assessed certificate and, where earned, a reference letter you can use.
